Jim founded ColdWater Media with his wife Laurra in the year 2000. Together with Dave Stotts, they created Drive Thru History in 2003. Prior to that, Jim spent 19 years as an entrepreneur-building and operating cable television systems in several states. Jim is involved in the oversight of all aspects of the production process at ColdWater and leads project development and new business development.
Host of Drive Thru History
Dave has spent the last two decades in professional media production. His career in documentary films has taken him to nearly 30 countries to shoot and edit programs on a wide variety of topics. Dave is the host of Drive Thru History, a fun, fast-paced, content-rich shows that allows students to learn the history that has shaped our world and the Christian faith.
Randall serves in areas of business operations. He also acts as the lead writer for ColdWater’s Drive Thru History TV series and Drive Thru History “Adventures” curriculum. In his prior lives, Randall worked as an attorney, educator, and COO in the non-profit world. His education includes Georgetown, Oxford, and Berkeley.
Josh joined ColdWater early on serving as producer and overseeing all things operational. He is currently one of the senior editors of ColdWater's Drive Thru History TV series. Josh Graduated with a B.A. in Media Communication from Asbury University.
Stephen serves as the Assistant Editor for all ColdWater projects. He worked previously in news as a Creative Services Producer, and has also worked as a freelance videographer and photographer in the music industry. Stephen graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a B.A. in Mass Communication.
Tristan manages the promotion of all ColdWater series through digital marketing and social media. He also oversees development of the online properties owned by ColdWater, including the "Adventures" curriculum. Tristan graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University.
